I have a 2000 nissan maxima but speedometer does not work. All the other things in the instrument cluster works. I have changed the speed sensor but it did not fix and finally diagnose that speedometer dial is the culprit. I tried to find a cluster locally but did not find any. I have found plenty of cluster but all are in MPH instead of Km/h. I have no problem with mph as long as it will work. Now my main questiin is, if I just simply install ann old mph cluster, Will it work?

It should be plug and play as long as it is a 2000-2001 cluster.

how did you figure out it was the needle and did changing the cluster fix it?
