http://www.autodash.com/details.lass...n=ni-maxim02ca

They got a molded dash kit for both the Auto and the Stick versions. They kit comes in a 8piece molded kit. They got a nice set of 8 different colors to pick from including English Burl,Rosewood,Brushed Aluminum,Carbon Fiber,Ready For Color Match,Brushed Bronze,Black Cherrywood,American Walnut.

All of them go for $225 each.

Woodview is the only dash kit company that makes a 3D dash kit for our Maxima. They have stainless which is simular to the Alum. kit you are looking for, but as you said they are too flat(assuming you mean not as shiny). If you want a kit to match the mats on custommaxima you would have to get a Flat dash kit. Joshua Tree makes a real Brushed Aluminum dash kit for the Max which is shiney like metal. I had the Joshua tree dash kit on my 2001 Altima. I have the 3D mold English Burl on my 02 Max though. You can request a sample of the Stainless (3D molded) kit to see if the finish is good enought. Hope this helps.

Joshua tree

woodview

Discount dash is the cheapest site for the woodview kit which I know you have already been to they offer free samples as well.

You can mix the joshua tree kit (flat kit only carbon/alum) with the molded kit to get a more authentic look to the entire car.

Not sure of what you mean by "thick."woodview is the only one that makes the molded kit (which fits over the entire piece it is covering like factory, and Joshua tree sales flat dash kit you can get either real or synthetic aluminum. If you are looking for the custommaxima look with aluminum and the floormats get Joshua Tree's real brushed aluminum, but if you want a less flashy look to the Aluminum (not as shiny) get the Woodview or flat joshua tree kit.

the 3D molded dash kit will cover more area and give you a stock look especially for your door pieces. I personally think the flat kits look tacky on our cars because the flat kit doesn't cover the entire piece it just sits on top of the piece. here are some examples

Flat real brush

3 D molded brush aluminum from How- to tread
