Hey, haven't been here for awhile. I have 2002 Infiniti i35 and recently started having loud acceleration. It usually occurs on first gear. I got a youtube video to show. You will notice how loud first gear and how quiet second gear is. I think it could be something in exhaust, but let me know what you think. Thanks

exhaust leak?

 

Wouldn't an exhaust leak be seen through all the gears? My car is loud for the most part, it does get quieter towards the back end though.

I'll need a new muffler sooner or later.. Couple years maybe?

 

sounds fine to me but if it sounds more throaty lately probably exhaust leak somewhere as said
