2001 Maxima - L/R Front Hub and Bearings
Looking to replace front hub and wheel bearing on front L/R as one piece. From an earlier thread, I have a humming/droning noise coming from the front that increases with speed. 99% sure it is the bearings.
Besides ordering from NISSAN directly ($$$), where can I find OEM parts at a better price? I'd like to get the front hubs/bearings as complete units (bearings already installed.

I don't think anyone sells it with the bearings pressed in. This timken unit seems to be the top choice, I simply went to AutoZone and bought the store brand and it's fine. Try Rockauto.com for the timken bearing, they sell it cheap. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...0438&cc=143196

You can get hubs with the wheel bearing included (for example: http://www.amazon.com/512203-Bearing.../dp/B00A7HB820) but they are harder to locate.
Check with your local auto parts store and see if they offer machine shop service, meaning they will install the bearing. You will have to pay for the service, it won't be free.

This.
Make sure you replace both the hub and the bearing or you will just have to do it again in a year or less.
Timken is OEM. Actually, it's an NTK bearing that is repackaged and distributed by Timken. Either way, it's the same bearing you get from Nissan, except the price is less than half usually.
