got me a fresh 25k badboy :D suggestions for maintenance replacement parts?

Hi guys.
I have obtained a young fresh motor. '02 with 25k will be goin in my 180k '02 6speed in about a week or so.
The bolt ons ive accumulated, such as my headers, y-pipe, and 3" exhaust will of course be installed at the same time.

Question: what parts should I replace on the new motor, which had been sitting for at least a couple years. Specifically, which ones are time consuming and/or difficult to access once the motor is installed?

So far, I plan on purchasing my rear main seal, and most likely the front crank seal as well. (<-not hard to access from what ive read, but its just ten bucks.. why not. Hah.)
Ill grab the rear valve cover for a 6th gen. Figured I'd leave the front alone, as its very easy to do at anytime if needed, right?

Going to select, and replace, my clutch and most likely my flywheel as well.

Any suggestions gentlemen?

oh and the motor has brand new NGKs, and a 5 piece NWP spacer kit.

Holy crap only like 40,000 km on your 02!? That is amazing

Ohh with the engine out of the car you could do rod bolts & cams. A high RPM loving Nissan Maxima, like the Civics with VTEC.

the 25k is on the new motor my friend!! That'd be my dream to own an original 25k 6 speed

Well sadly our cars don't have the market for cam manufacturers to cater to our small group. the cams for our cars are starting at $1k. -_-

I would like to do rod bolts though!
I've heard that they are the mainnn weak point in the vq35.

Also, id think head studs or bolts would be a good plan, as I dooo plan to be turboed after about a year of allmotor fun has been completed.

any thoughts on an extremelyyyy MINOR motor build up george?

No clue what's minor.

If you doing the labor yourself can't be that bad... JWT Performance cams are that expensive?

HR rod bolts should be identical and much cheaper than ARP (many times stronger than DE bolts).

Maybe ask to get your thread moved to the "All Motor" forum section. Tons of info, and good searching place too.

Valve Covers
Here is two of many threads w/ some info. Also consider using Courtesy Parts for your order. They have received a lot of .org business through the years.

wizard? anybody??

Would a mod mind moving this to All-Motor? I know it makes references to mere "bolt ons", but in post #3, I begin to inquire about vq35DE internals, and throw ideas out about a "cams-less" minor motor buildup.

Just looking for more feedback is all.

Thank you!

That's so amazing it's suspicious. Who drove this car, and how, that he/she only put 25,000 Miles on it in 12 years ??? That's 2.08K miles/yr, or 170
miles/month. What am I missing?
(40k KM = 25K miles; 2002 - 2014 = 12 years)

Youre right, that would be amazing!
However, she wasn't on the road for 12 years.

The car was wrecked in the early 2000s. Lol.
I ran the VIN to ensure she really only had 25k.

Hahahahah.

Yesss.
Yeah id be suspicious too, if I hadn't run the VIN.

The motor had been sitting unused in the previous owners hands for I believe around 5 years now.
