2k2 HIDS on 2k Max

I wired a pair of 2k2 HIDs on my 2000 Maxima using instructions I found here. I noticed that when they are on and I'm signalling that they flicker when my turning signal turns to the off position after completing my turn. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Um yeah, I think you wired the Xenons ground wire to the ground wire of maybe the turnsignals. The Xenons ground wire should be straight grounded to the Body.

Check my writeup if you think you messed up. Go to my Homepage.

The HIDs are grounded directly to the body. Any other ideas?

Go over my wiring setup on my homepage, and tell me what you have done differently.

All I can think of is that the turnsignal wire somewhere along the lines must be shorting out with the 12V for the Xenons,

Also do this so I can rule this out, turn on the highbeams and do the turnsignal, does the highbeams also do it? This only needs to be done if you followed my wiring diagram, if you got the 12V for the Highbeams from the battery, then this step does not need to be performed.

Explain it in detail for me.

Do you get the HIDS kit from a Nissan dealer or is there some other place where you can get them?

your ground points

are they free of paint? metal to metal? I used the factory points on each side, conveniently close to the lights.

No. Where did you find factory points? I couldn't find anything to ground them too. I ended up screwing them in near the top front lip of the hood. Any other place that looked ideal wouldn't unscrew.

If you look right behind the headlight assembly, there is a screw on the passenger side holding like almost 5-7 ground wires already, the other drivers side has the same deal also.

I have the side marker wire (both front and rears) and that was BEFORE I even changed over to the 2K2 HIDs and I had no problems.
