From 6th to N and randomly dies.

When my car is warm and rolling down the road, if I pop it in N to coast to a stop sign or whatever, it will randomly fall from it's running RPM, past idle, and just die. It's very intermittent.

Other than that, the engine starts, runs, idles, accelerates just fine. Just wondering why it wouldn't fall to idle and settle there instead of dying.

Have you had it scanned? Sounds like idle air control valve or maybe mass airflow sensor. I could be completely wrong though.

Pull off your air cleaner/MAF and take a look at your Throttle Body Plate. If it looks filthy, take it off and clean with some throttle body cleaner. When you go from driving and then go into neutral, the engine is starves for air and dies. The PCV system is probably getting it dirty. This happens especially on high mileage engines. When this happens to me, this is the first thing I check. Fixes it every time.
