p0134

Just started getting this no activity on the bank 1 s1 o2. I changed this one about 6 minths ago used a denso. I ran my car while monitoring thw sensor and it has periods that it gives no reading at all. Usually a bad o2 gives a reading out of range. The connection looks good .
I also got a p0140 with same no activity on b1 s2 . That one I cleared and hasnt come back.
Anything else I should look at? Maybe further up the wiring harness?

The P0134 code means you need to change out that front oxygen sensor ASAP since it actually has a useful job, dealing with A/F ratio. Don't fix it and you'll probably have poor gas mileage, lack of performance and more . P0140 is rear which isn't as important, just checks to see if precats are working.

I realize its important but no activity instead of out of range values is unusual. They usually dont die like that unless they get banged and crack.
my precats I am sure are gone but they are way to rusty to even attempt to remove them and gut.

Mine is intermittent n since it happens for a moment with no response from thr o2 at all not just values out of sync. Then it goes back to working correctly with the values exactly where they should be.

Sounds like a broken wire somewhere in the harness.

I am getting a p0140. Does anyone know where the wires converge. It would be a good place to start
