Royal Purple MAX ATF for 02 Maxima?

Hi guys. There is this weird sound coming from the front of my car for about a year now and no one could figure out why. Until recently someone says the noise could be from the transmission. So I am thinking of changing from my current Dextron III fluid to MAX ATF (fully synthetic) might help?

Weird Sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIthuxp4AGU

MAX ATF® – SYNTHETIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID:

Any input would be appreciated

The video seems to pause and stop around 11 seconds so can't make anything out. Is the noise happening going straight or when turning? Have you checked the fluid levels and checked the power steering? Amsoil multi vehicle ATF is a good synthetic too.

Notice anything unusual about the car changing gears? Any slipping?

You 100% sure the transmission is okay and fluid is filled up?

Sounds like something's scrapping?

I just checked it today at Vaughan mills while the engine is hot, it looks like it's overfill. I don't know if the reading is accurate though 'cause the parking lot is not really that flat.

Btw, would it leak if I change the fluid to fully synthetic, since the tranny is old?

So no vibrations?
Sounds to me it is a vibration rattle. It's only a guess, but I'd inspect your exhaust system for droop due to bad isolators - so it could be moving and/or rattling. Sounded more substantial than a heat shield, but I'd check those too.

I'd also check for a bad idler pulley or accessory pulley. I've heard some loose idler pulley's sound like that. They are tight against the belt, but the bolt holding it and the bearing in place is loose causing it to rattle from time to time.

It sounds like a vibration to me too but I don't "physically" feel it though
I'm gonna check the other parts too. Thanks

Did your car ever have its axles changed?

Aftermarket axles usually are missing a vibration dampener
