Rear struts

Is there any other way to remove the top nut that's hard to get?

Remove the strut, use spring compressors<~correctly, and then zip off the center nut with an impact gun.

Hey guys sorry for the misunderstanding I'm trying to uninstall it from the car. I'm not trying to remove the coil spring. Just the 2 nuts attached to the car

It's very hard to get to one of the nuts in a very tight spot.

http://www.shiftice.com/strut_install.html

try using a super long extension and going in from the top instead of trying to fit a wrench inside that tiny area...

For that nut closet to the car try going in from the rear seat instead of getting into the trunk

I unbolt mine when sitting in the backseat as well. Good suggestion.

You have to take off the brace blocking it by removing all the bolts from behind the rear seats.

Just do it. There's no point fighting it and rounding it off. It's much easier and faster to just disassemble the whole thing.

Is it the one with like 4 gold bolts on each side?

You DO NOT have to remove the entire black brace (huge waste of time). You need an extension on your socket wrench. You don't even need a U-joint. It can be done from the trunk.

A 6" extension and 3/8" ratchet gets it done all the time without removing the brace!
