Yeah I have no clue what the guys at nissan were thinking for that one. I replaced both my rear calipers with autozone replacements at ~70 each. They have a lifetime warranty so if they ever go out again I'll get another for free.

This happened to me for the first time last week. It was 10 degrees in Charlotte that morning. Didn't notice until i was going 65 on the highway Literally thought i was going to die. Luckily, i was able to move over into the shoulder. Pressed the brakes and the pedal went all the way to the floor and the car wasn't stopping. The front was working but that shows how much of a difference it makes. The rear brake calipers suck. I've had issues with them for a while. Another reason this car will be gone this year.

No, front was not working. It had to be leaking fluid out the rear and you lost pressure.

Also, good riddance. What a dumb post. Oh, boy, rear calipers failed. Apparently, you knew this and kept driving on them. Who is at fault, here?
Replace them and STFU.
