2000 Maxima SE - Tune-up/repairs suggestions? advice?

Have a 2000 Maxima SE, 5 sp. w/ 163,000 miles. Trying to decide whether to keep it and perform some repairs/tune-up or maybe move on to another car. Really don't want any car payment and this thing is in good shape and just put on brand new tires last fall. Hoping some folks can give me some advice as to:
- where to buy?
- what type of part and approx. cost?
- installation problems?

Here are some of the issues that I need to address:

1) Engine codes:P0138, P0139 - Bank-1/Sensor-2
priced at O'Reily's Auto. Bosch # 13969 $80.00
Anyone have problems with this replacement sensor or have used them with good results? The dealer price is over $200

2) Engine code: P0300 - Random Multiple Cylinder misfire
Any ideas? Is the sensor (item #1) possibly causing this.
Was thinking of replacing all wires and plugs. Anyone recommend where or what to buy on this?

3) Starter: Starter is staying "engaged" for a brief moment after engine starts. Worse in colder weather.
Any idea where/what to buy?

4) Shocks: quite possible these are original ones. I like a comfy, soft ride.
any ideas where and what works good? cost?

"thanks" for any input regarding all of this.

Re. #1: Contrary to the above post, P0138/P0139 codes refer to the malfunction of the REAR O2 sensor, not the Front O2 sensor as suggested above. Before replacing the sensor(s) find out whether your car is Cali or Fed emissions. The Cali cars have two sensors, Fed cars only one, and they do differ. I have an intermittent P0138/P0139 on my 2000 SE. I'll be replacing my sensor before my emission check in November; I'll be ordering the Bosch sensor from RockAuto (about $65).

Re. #2: Most likely, it's your coils. And no, I don't think this is related to your sensor problem .... I would check your spark plugs first. When you do, check if you coils have gray dots (on top of coil). If not, they are most likely the original coils, and I'll bet they are worn out. For replacement, buy only OEM/Hitachi coils.

Re. #3 and #4: Check out RockAuto.com; they sell reliable parts at very good prices, including KYB/Excel struts and TYC/Hitachi starters. For critical EC parts (MAF, IACV, perhaps coils) go to CourtesyParts.com.

Good luck!

Edit: Get yourself a copy of the FSM (Factory Service Manual) from http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Maxima/ - a lot of good info in there.

Yes, the KYB is the closest thing to the OEM strut. I have them up front (original OEM still in the rear) and I can't tell the difference.
