I have a 2001 Maxima SE, 5 speed, 3.0 V6... Needs a new clutch pedal assembly which is the pedal, bracket, bushings, etc.,spring,etc. all self contained and ready to bolt on. Discontinued part with Nissan Dealerships and so far I have had absolutely no luck finding it on the internet. Asking the experts on all things Maxima in the forum if they have any idea where I can find this clutch pedal assembly. I can find this part for other generation maximas and it tells me they are not the same for the 2001. Thanks for your help in advance.

 

Without doing any research myself, when a part is discontinued, you will have to get it from the junk yard. It is highly unlikely that a clutch pedal assembly is made by anyone other than the manufacturer.

You can also look in the Maxima.org classifieds. Someone may be parting out a car.

 

You could try www.car-part.com to search for used parts. They don't list the pedal assembly but you could search for available 5 speed trannys from 01 cars and call about the pedal assembly.
