2000 maxima flywheel question

The flywheel for a 2000 Maxima is a single mass flywheel correct? The Luk flywheel part number:LFW266 should be a good replacement for the stock flywheel? Thanks in advance

Can someone please help?? im desperate. I am a complete noob with all this stuff.
Amazon.com: LuK LFW266 Flywheel: Automotive Amazon.com: LuK LFW266 Flywheel: Automotive
This flywheel says it will fit on my 2000 maxima. But when i look at the nissanpartsusa store and search online for the part number, the picture is so much more expensive and the picture is completely different from the Luk flywheel that it claims fits onto my car.

I believe that piece from amazon is a replaceable friction surface for a Luk flywheel. Not the whole thing. If you had worn out a Luk flywheel you could replace the worn friction surface with this.

Unless you already have a Luk flywheel that will do you no good.

Unless the flywheel is really damaged you should be able to have it resurfaced by any machine shop for a very reasonable price. It's very easy on a single mass flywheel like you have.

Thank you. I was wondering why it looked so different. I guess the price was too good to be true lol

Why are you replacing it?

To be honest, not quite sure LOL. I am purchasing the car from my uncle and i figured since im already going to be replacing the clutch, i should do the flywheel too. But instead i'm going to have my mechanic look at it first, and if it could be rearufaced than i will definitley just do that

It should be able to be resurfaced. The clutch in the 3.5 liter cars is hard to cut and many machine shops wont touch them. Yours should be no problem. somewhere around $50 to cut it.
