P1320 & p0300

Hello all,

I have a 2000 Maxima with 201800 miles on it and I have an issue....

It started out with a blinking "SES" light, that would go away on its on. After parking overnight, and driving to work in the morning the next day, the light flashed again, and stayed on this time along with the "TRAC OFF" and "SLIP" lights. Also, it felt a little rough during idle and hesitant to accelerate. I went and had the codes pulled, and got "P1320" and "P0304," both which were stored twice.

After doing some research, I was led to believe that it may be a coil/sparkplug. So, I switched out the sparkplugs, and moved the coil from cylinder 4 to 2 as instructed to see if the code would follow. Reset the light, and waited. When it came back on, this time it had "P1320" and "P0300" both stored twice again.

So today, I did a little more research to try and narrow down what probable causes may be. I ran across a video that showed me how to check the leads with a multimeter... After doing that, everything came back fine, everything is receiving power, and the coils are all good... SOOOO what could the issue be???

And the rough idle/sluggish acceleration comes and goes....
Please help me!!!!!!! Thanks in advance...

Alternator
If coils are bad, use OEM or Hitachi only

So you're saying that it could very well be the Alternator? Or are the coils indeed bad? I've done the resistance test on them and they passed...

Its your coils and the 1320 means theres a aftermarket coil mixed in there somewhere

Okay I'll check them all again. Could a bad tank of gas cause all of this as well?
