I have a '91 SE, and that happens to me too. I've only taken my Max to 128. All of my friends are too slow and scared to go faster in their cars. 'Cept my cousin, he's trying for 130 in his Del Sol.

I didn't really, but what is it? A ram-air w/o a filter? 14:1 compression? Nitromethane?

You're going to have your girlfriend in the car? I'm not sure how that's going to make you faster, but...

Oh well since I don't, more fun for me, and more money to spend on mods and alcohol.( No, I don't mix the two.)

-Yo its ok, cause in the end it doesn't even matter.
Actually if I was to stagger a serious guess I'd say you're secret weapon is H20 injection. I didn't think it did much for NA engines though.

Inject what ? I have a water bottle its always in my cupholder....bless the Poland Spring Man.
Did you take off the rev-limiter or remove the knock-sensor so it won't retard timing after prolonged high-RPM running?

Water requires A LOT of pressure to compress, injecting it might absorb some heat, but it also raises compression. Low-compression engines with large (LARGE) turbos use it to help startup and to spool up the turbo(s). By unstable he probably figured it would create a significant amount of stress on the engine.

Y Pics ? Y bother ?
Not mine, so I'll leave it at that.

It looked like a typical black E34 w/ 19s, given it had a nice kit w/ crazy sounds from the hood, but slicing a 200mph hole in the air; scary. Saw a V12 M3 convertible ?
speed goverened... hehe...

Just wondering... I saw a B8 at a BMW dealership and I thought it was a beautiful peace of machinery. I may even go see a Hartge M Coupe pretty soon (M5 v8 powered). And I saw the new 7 in person... nice interior, exterior makes me want to shoot Chris Bangle... but I could definately live with one .

I find it hard to believe that someone who seems to be as experienced of a tuner of you doesn't know about water injection. You inject water in the engine like direct port nitrous you can get a power boost. The water breaks down during the combustion process forming Hydrogen and Oxygen (both of which are highly explosive). This break-down process absorbs a lot of heat. The closer to absolute zero you can get your starting point the more efficient your combustion process is. This means you get more power out of the same amout of gasoline and air. The extra hydrogen and oxygen combusting doesn't hurt the power output either.

Didn't know the water molecules broke down during oxidation. I thought it just absorbed heat and raised compression. Thanks!

I believe the heat and the pressure from the combustion process cause the H20 molecules to break apart.

I can get up to 145-150 since putting on the 4"oscai it would creep to 130 befor that. now it pulls the whole way. I read that there is no gov't limiter on the 2k that its limited by air pressure.
