HELP!! 2000 5th Gen CEL codes 732/733
Hey everyone, first time poster. My 2000 Maxima has 135K miles and had little regular maintenance done on it since 2006 (to my knowledge).
I've been doing some maintenance like changing plugs, replacing the radiator, oil, change transmission fluid, clean the MAF etc. All of these were in hopes of it improving in gas mileage and power. It was always a little sluggish (used to be my Mom's but I gave her my SUV b/c she's having her knees replaced).
Anyway, now these codes are something that, as best as I can diagnose, are related to the shift solenoids. I have the instructions to replace those, HOWEVER, before I spend $200+ on the solenoid set, I wanted to ask if there was anything else that I should try?
Right now, the car has trouble getting up a small incline without dropping down to 10mph. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cool forum, btw. Thanks in advance.
