Can't speak from personal experience with these, but I've read several complaints from others that say these are very bouncy and therefor offer a terrible ride.

Well i mean my friend had some on his 4th gen and it ran pretty smooth.
I kinda want to take my chances. Do you know where to buy some?

There you go. Honestly to each their own. I'd try anything once, I wouldn't use these with a stock shock though. Also those are for a fourth gen so some minor modification might be needed for a 5th gen.
I don't see ANY issues running these BUT by the time you pay for the sleeves, and preferably an adjustable shock you are right around the price of a coilover kit. Plus you'd probably want to look into at least an adjustable pillowball top mount.

What ajustments would be needed?

Well considering they are for the fourth gen. You'd need to buy the fourth gen shocks. I also don't know if they're compatible with the upper mounts on the 5th gens.

Your absolute best bet would be if your buddy has them on HIS fourth gen, Ask him to take them off and put them on yours. Changing shocks takes like a whole 10 minutes a side for the front, the rears are a bit more of a PITA but not much longer.

I can't remember off the top of my head whether or not the rear shock mounts are the same or not. I believe the fronts are relatively close.
