are majestic blue 02 max rare

are majestic blue 02 max rare
i'm looking to buy an 02se 6spd very soon but i have yet to see a maj. blue max on the streets. Is it hard to get this color in the bay area? Do i have to special order or somthin....also, what prices can i get a max for now(base se w/ hsld). I read somenone were able to get it below invoice. Any help and/or referal to a good dealer is greatly appreciated.

When the 2k1 Anniversary Cars came out it was a limited and exclusive color option. Rumors seem to fall between 300 to 1000 tops. Unfortunately it was normal on Infiniti's for last year and became a color option this year on all Maxima's. It seems popular here on .org but other than mine I rarely see them on the street in Florida.

Yes majestic Blue is a rare color when you consider the fact that this is the 1st year it has been offered on none A.E. Maximas.
consider this MB is only available on SE and GLE for the first time, w/A.E. Max counting for about 1000. That would make MB and Cresum Red the rarest Maxima colores ever. By the way the whole reason I got Majestic blue was because I wouldn't see as many clones of my car.

Maybe, and just maybe, the dealership in your small town saw how hard it was to get the Anniversary car in Majestic Blue and ordered quite a few as soon as color charts were released on 2k2 models to provide stock to those potential buyers from the previous year that missed out.......

I've got one
I didn't really look to see if it was a hard color to find. Most of the SE 6 speeds that I saw were either black/black or grey/grey. I particularly liked the blue/frost. My last car (89 SE) was a grey/grey and it was great color to hide the dirt but I wanted a change.
