Bose radio replacement

Ok when I bought my 2nd 03 it came with a pioneer single din radio. Well I bought a double din pioneer avh-x2700bs to replace it with a Metra 95-7416G D-Din Gray Install Kit For 2000-2003 Fits Nissan Maxima W/ Bose. First off the stereo adapter says painted to factory color but thats only if you have a 2000 or 2001 as its dark gray not silver/light gray of the 02 and 03s. Second problem is the the radio doesn't line up right when bolted in, it sits about an 1/8inch to high for it to fit with the adapter. So it looks like I'm going to have to drill my own holes in the radio. No biggy I guess.

Now my biggest issue. The original radio has a normal wiring adapter plugs that hook up to the speaker outputs of the radio. The car has the bose system from the factory. I thought it had to be hooked up to the low voltage speaker outputs? It's worked and sounded great hooked up to noral speager outputs. No issues from the factory amps at all. I took that radio out and put it in my other 03 with factory bose system and it works fine in that one too.
So do I buy the radio plug adapter with the low voltage speaker hookups or a normal one since I already know it works like that?

you should get a line level adapter such as the PAC ROEM NIS-2.

Dang skippy. I would love something like that. Lol.
I'm ordering a
Metra 70-7551 receiver wiring harness and hope that will make it sound OK
a Metra 40-ni10 antenna adapter
a axxess aswc-1 steering wheel adapter.
hope this works and sounds ok

If the radio you are putting in does not use the Diversity antenna (very few use it), order the Metra 40-NI11
