[HELP] My AirCon works only at the Lowest Temp (A33)
Hi guys I hope I am posting this in a right place. My Aircon flow is ok. It's just that the aircon works only when it is set to lowest temp.. anything other than that, it blows the heater
I tried to change the whole controller panel at the dash, it does not solve the problem.. what other things i should look at.
I cant find a good source of info to investigate this.
you can see the controller photo in the attachment.
In this zone the lowest temp is 18 degree. If i set to 18.5 - the heater kicks in.
I am so lost
Any tips will be highly appreciated!

As you know, you have the auto climate controls that will keep the cabin temperature at whatever you set it at.
In order to do this, there are 4 (I think) temperature sensors built into the car. One of these sensors is probably bad. To check/test these sensors, you can run the built-in self diagnostic.
But first, check to see that you have not blocked the in-cabin sensor air intake grille. It is located on the dash forward of the ignition switch.
To run the self diagnostic, you need to follow the procedure in the service manual. Click on the link below and go to page 37.

When the test is running, one part (test 3 I think) takes maybe minute, so don't start thinking that the test got hung up and isn't running.
