My passenger side light went pink a couple days ago. After reading this thread and the Morimoto recommendations, I found out Amazon has Morimoto D2R 4500K for $16.58, prime eligible. C'mon payday!

Xenon depot lights

Hey, checking back in - it's been a few months and I love my lights. Xenon depot didn't have the 6500's in stock so I got the 5000's and they are whiter than white - truly a major upgrade! Installation of low, high, and fog lights went easy. I highly recommend Xenon Depot.

I also buffed the lenses and they looked, let's just say, like an 8.5 out of 10. Definitely much clearer and no more yellowing, but they don't look glassy like new cars. I started with 1000 grit wet, then 2000 wet then polishing compound, then wax. I'm happy with it, but it does seem to be fading already. A mechanic neighbor said he starts with 600 grit then the same thing. I might try that next time, cause I'm sure I'll be buffing them again in a year or 2.

I have pics of one cleaned and one before cleaning that I'll have to post. Just can't do it right now. It's an easy job and makes the car look much better!
