Stainless Steel Cat-back exhaust??

I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE 6-speed 3.5L. Time for a new exhaust.. current one is rusted out. Looking to upgrade to stainless steel so it won't rust out... On a slight budget and trying to keep it OE direct fit.

Who makes the BEST Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust for a 2003 Maxima?

With enough cash and some handy Js maybe you can bribe someone for a 2.5" cattman.

I have a BRM on my 02 6spd. Sounds really good, but you will need a Magnaflow 6X30 resonator.

I just replace my cat back with the Megan racing stainless steel system. It sounds very good and as a direct bolt-on

Custom is not OE Direct fit... and I think BRM is expensive!? I'm on a budget

What did it cost you?

I saw this one on Amazon... OBX Performance Catback Exhaust by OBX Racing Sports for $306 that I'm leaning towards.

Amazon.com: OBX Performance Catback Exhaust 00-03 Nissan Maxima V6: Automotive Amazon.com: OBX Performance Catback Exhaust 00-03 Nissan Maxima V6: Automotive

Does anyone have an OBX Performance Exhaust or know anything about them?

If not OBX, maybe the Megan racing exhaust will do. I'm looking for OE Direct fit. I'm in New England and its cold out.. trying to do this exhaust in a timely manner without any customizations

Paid $398.00. The Megan racing is a direct fit. Installed it in about 30 minutes

Great! Thanks.. Did you have a tough time taking out the cat flange nuts and bolts? They're usually pretty rusted out and require to be cut and punched out of the flange holes

I replaced the cat with a cheap high flow racing stainless cat from ebay. I used a grinder to cut them off. Only took a minute. The cat back and cat came with new bolts and nuts.

I want to do stainless headers next but that will have to wait. Replacing the clutch and flywheel next. I'm a poor single dad of 3 so funds are very limited, buying parts takes a while.

Does the Cat have an O2 sensor connected to it? No codes after removal?

After listening to a few exhaust clips.. the Megan stainless steel cat back sounded the best. I will be ordering it on Monday when the shops open back up. I have to replace my clutch soon as well, I can feel it starting to go its getting harder to shift into gear.. saving up for that next! Sorry to hear your struggles, you must be a good dad having 3 kids... hopefully the New Year brings us both good luck. Thanks again for your help and Happy New Year!
