My 02 clicks when you turn the key started out intermittent. I replaced the inhibit relay and the starter still the same problem. Anyone have any ideas?

If your starter clicks, but does not turn the engine, then this is usually a starter problem. Most often, the starter solenoid is faulty. Also, it could be caused by a broken, disconnected or rusted wiring in the starter circuit, or starter pinion being jammed or broken. Check your battery: it should have 14-14.5V before you start cranking.

 

Typo on that battery voltage. The battery voltage should be 12 - 12.5V before you start.

 

Yes, Dennis is right, as usual. Except - it wasn't a typo, it was a mind slip.
