#1 could be the ignition switch wearing out and not going from the "on" into the "accessory" position. Try jiggling it around as you shut it off just to see. Can't hurt to try. Does the engine turn off every time? Does the radio stay on too?

#2 sounds like the pre-cat might be clogged and creating a lot of heat and back pressure. This would be my main concern as it can damage the engine.

Thank You For Replying,

Yes Enging is completely off and key is out, Radio is off, I wilk start with ordering a Ignition switch hopefully that will fix?

As for Pre cat, would it make since to get a new Cat Conv, Or get the complete assembly?

Thank You

If you don't need emissions or want to trick the ECU, then you can just use an aftermarket Y pipe to delete the precats (assuming you don't have a cali spec or gut one and Y pipe if it is).

You may be able to replace just the switching part of the ignition. I haven't messed with one on these cars but it may separate into the keyed section and a mechanical switch behind it. I'm sure others will chime in with better info or you can look it up. If you can do that you'll save a lot of hassle and money. You might also try swapping out the relay with another one from the car just to rule out a bad relay.

Thank You,

Yes I live in a city that needs emmisions so guess i need to get a Cat Conv, It looks by prices that full assembly is better as just getting That Cat Id Need to Have it Welded, This way it can jus be installed per say. Thanks for your expertiece.

much appreciated..
