Did you "loosen" the screw all the way?

you will not need to loosen it all the way to get the idle in spec if everything else is normal. how high is your idle and how are you verifying it?

Yes, I've tried that numerous times and it never seems to work. I have all the things right, so I think. But never has worked

Still can't get it to take. I swapped the stock TB back in and it still has the same symptoms and still wont relearn.

Took it to Ni$$an stealership and they tried it. They said it took but before they could drive it the service supervisor said to get the car out of there and they couldn't work on it again because it was modified. I've never heard of anything like that unless it was warranty work. Not a paying customer. I think that they just want to swap MAFs and change coils at $110 per hour. Any challenge and they're looking for an excuse to drop it. So much for my first and last ever trip to Nissan service.

Anyway, it didn't take so I'm right back where I was.

I'm thinking that there may be a bad memory chip in the computer now.
Derrick2k2SE,

I honestly couldn't believe I found a thread this up-to-date, but did you ever have any luck, or are you experiencing the same issues???

Still living with it. Tried swapping ECUs but it didn't help.
I kind of put it on the back burner for a while since the car still drives alright. I've been busy with other things. I'm about to start digging into it again since I want to do some more upgrades. I don't want to change anything else till I get this worked out.

I'm going to get some logging software to take a deeper look at whats happening.
