5th gen maxima help please

I have a 2000 maxima with the 3.0 twin cam engine, and I wanna know if a manual transmission from an older gen maximabwill go in my car with little or no modifications. Please help

You really have to give a lot more information about the older transmission to answer this question.

If the transmission is from the 4th generation Maxima (95 -99), it will bolt up.
