you might want to get low compression pistons first.. then do a dry setup.. its easier to tune if you are not going over 100 shot.. and if you are.. then you are the man

i hope you have a spare engine to give him also

well i guess if you are going to replace the internals to do it.. you might as well just blow it and get it over with..

call it research for future 5th Gen Owners

You know you're making enough power when things start breaking.

Sorry im not into the R&D at the moment and maybe if I had your credit card then sure trial and error would be great. But for now I need some facts on running the SC with a 50shot or 35shot. Also if someone knows of a company that makes internals(pistons, seals, rods, ect) for the 5th gen max then Ill do some R&D. Need some help to get this max in the 12sec timeslips.

Stock internels are pretty solid. Unless you run a high amount of boost with nos ;it will be fine.

Funny you asked,

I'll be headed to JWT next month for a 50 to 65 shot of n2o. Right now I'm running 11 lbs of SC boost. The only reason Jim will try this is because I'm running an air to water aftercooler and water injection. Also I have a custom griffin radiator and a large engine oil filter and cooler and 2 tranny coolers and 2 extra fans. Also I have 2 hood vents, an opened grill and a customized cut out front bumper cover to allow more cooling air to enter the engine compartment.
I know our internals will handle this extra boost as long as there is no detonation, proper cooling and a finely tuned ecu. I already have a level 10 tranny which will take the punishment! We'll soon find out what are the limits!
