Why do people run with out gauges?? >>
#1
I saw a 200sx Sat. with a turbo kit on it. The guy had no gauges in the car to let him know what was going on with the engine. No air/fuel gauge, no boost gauge not even a turbo timer. What gives. Its no wonder people have so many problems with there cars man, they dont even know how its running. I only run NOS and I have an air/fuel meter to let me know if I ever lean out, witch is good cause one of my damn silinoids would not open, when I hit the NOS the car went full rich. I also have a boost gauge that tells me how the NOS is running. I get 3 psi on the boost gauge with the NOS on. As the bottle gets empty like around 15-17lbs I get less boost. I also have a gague on my bottle to let me know the bottle pressure. The best to run the NOS at is 900. So I really cant screw that up. So just wondering how people spend all this money on forced induction and big power modds, they do not have anything telling them what is going on in the motor. The only thing they have is a check engine light. Just wodering why people do that. I am at the track twice a week, and I can not tell you how many people do not have any safty features in the car. Then I will see a 1.6L civic all motor with fuel pressure, air/fuel, oil, water, temp, amps, HEHE thats a little funny to see. But I guess all differant typs of people have differant typs of opinions. O YAH DAMN, I got frikin Smoked by a damn GTP friday. He dyno like 320hp and 360 tq is what he said. He would not open the hood or talk about his modds. But he ran 13.88at 100. To my 14.28.

you sure?
you sure the guy has a real turbo kit? or just a fake intercooler? well some ppl have their guages mounted inside their glove compartment, so you can't see it. but the other reason i can think of it is, they spent all their money on E right after they got the turbo kit and now they don't have enough money for guages.
