Need your Opinion!!

Hello guys, i have a 5.5 gen TE 6 spd, just want to know your opinion. I want to get a muffler delete. I already have the resonator deleted, so the question is should i delete the muffler as well? I want to make it louder but not to loud . It sounds great with the resonator delete.

At this point, I'd say no. Had you not deleted the resonator already, I would have said to delete the muffler and keep the resonator to get the loud exhaust sound you desire.

I love the sound of the Megan racing cat back. Then I put a high flow main cat and headers. Now it's a bit louder than I would like. It sounds GREAT when you get on it but the drone of the exhaust at 65 to 80 mph in 6th gear is a bit much.

My 2000 sounds great with a res and muffler delete. I had a muffler delete at first, then I wanted it louder so I got a res delete. I have a high flow cat and 2 1/4 inch piping.

Dam thats great. I love the sound headers give this car, but living here in california and with inspection every 2 years i think i would get tired of changing headers so often
