I removed the intake camshaft gear while doing a timing chain replacement and noticed some cracks near the pin that goes into the camshaft. Has anyone seen this before? I am assuming I need to replace the whole gear assembly.
This is on a 2002 I35, but I placed the thread in this section for more views.
