Yy 02 Maxima has been making this sound for a couple of months now. Its got 230,000 on it, i have always use premium, it has new injectors, and i have used synthetic with Lucus oil treatment. Any help would much appreciated.

 

It doesn't sound like a lifter. Lifters have a sharper, higher pitches sound.

Unplug the ignition coils one at a time. A rod knock will go away on a cylinder that is not firing and producing power.
