evaporator temp sensor

hi out there does anybody know how to access the a/c evaporator temp sensor on a 2000 maxima ? I believe it is icing up after driving for a few hrs. I turn it off for a while and the air comes thru the ducts again.

It is in the evaporator core box that is inside the car on the firewall behind the glovebox.

Here is a video on replacing the evaporator core and shows the temperature sensor at about 2:55 in the video:


Here is another video on how to remove the evaporator core box:


These videos were done on a 4th gen Maxima (95-99). It is almost identical on your 2000 except for the glove box removal.

thanks for the info i can see from the video that the temp sensor is easy to access to t/s it to see if it has failed thanks again
