pricing on 2k2 6spd....how is this..

Ok I've really liked dealing with autonation in georgia the last few years. I just go sometimes to test drive cars.. Ok to the point, how can they be selling the maxima for less than the altima.. It looks like nissan is throwing some great rebates on the maxima. For instance I did a 2002 se altima manual leather, spoiler, forget what else 27,520
I chose a maxima with similar option minus the leather for 24,592.
Is that right can that really be possible says like 3k somethin in discounts.. Might be worth checking out for that price.

leather kit is like 1000 dollar option plus that 1000 rebate Nissan is running... you have 2000 in discount already... plus a few thing... easy 3000 dollars.

Which Dealer?

I bought my 2k2 6spd from Team Nissan in Marietta about three weeks ago - got a great deal. Team is an AutoNation dealer, but so is Sutherlin(sp?) in Atlanta. They were too much trouble, so I ended up at Team, not too far away. Team had just what I wanted - SE 6spd, Sunroof, nothing else. They had four more in different colors. Anyway, it sounds like a good deal, but if you haven't already tried, call Joey at Team. I worked out my deal over the phone, he faxed me a purchase order, no surprises. Just thought you might want to shop a little.

Team is pretty nice. I came close to buying my 2K2 from them also. I'd say they treated me pretty fairly on the price of the 2K2. Another good one is Peachtree Nissan out Chambley. I bought my 2K1 SE for $21000 out there. And I just picked up a 2K2 SE for $22,000.
