Help 2002 Maxima gle

Hi my Maxima starts fine the very first time but after that it starts but it dies. The rpm just drops but if I start it and press the gas then it won't die but the rpm is still below normal. It does drive normal afterwards. What can be the problem when it? Thanks in advance

2002...

Clean TB without moving the butterfly and do idle air relearn. Reset ECU and do the relearns if that doesn't seem to work. Check for vac leaks.

Forgot that the 02 doesn't use the same valve as the 3.0, isn't the iat sensor on the tb aswell?

Negative. IAT is on the MAF sensor, but isn't used anyway. 3.5s don't have an IACV at all.

Hopefully cleaning it won't do more harm than good. Seeing as these 5.5 TB's are sensitive little bastards, I'm afraid to even touch mine.

You can also have someone flip the key on/off while you spray it out.
