About how much does this engine weigh with heads? Looking to scrap the engine. Metal only. No alternator, trans, ect. Well I still have timing cover and few other things attatched.

I don't know the weight but you might do well selling the intake plenum on eBay.

You will have to disassemble the motor (seperate the steel) or you'll get nothing. "Mixed" prices are garbage.

The recycling yard says for aluminum / 33 cents a (lb) and 5 a (lb) if I just bring the whole engine with everything together.. lol Seems like it may not even be worth the hassle. So basically its just the block and heads are aluminum? Everything else gotta come off correct?

Just look on eBay for completed listings to see what they've sold for.

The heads would have to come apart. Springs, valves, cams etc... are steel.
Same thing with the block. It's just not worth it to take apart unless you're really strapped for cash. I'm guessing the block and heads w/out the steel would be under 100 pounds.
