Spring Diameters & Recommendations

I read some of the threads here about struts, but didn't get much helpful info. Any recommendations for performance coilovers?

Also, what's the inside diameter for coilovers and what's the typical coilover height? Because I want adjustable camber plates, I plan to order a set with camber plates, then replace the springs with Eibachs to get the spring rate I want.

Are there any adjustable camber plates I can get by their selves for coilovers?

Decently priced and you can camber them without a seprate kit. Kind of like an all in one coil over. These are going on my max come tax time

Wait, why would you replace the springs? Coilovers are fully adjustable to any spring rate you want.

I have new stock replacement springs that sag like mad under the wait. Coilovers will allow me to adjust ride height and will be strong enough to hold the weight in the trunk to keep the car balanced. And coilovers aren't adjustable to any spring rate you want. I'll have to buy the springs that I need to get the spring rate I want. It's not adjustable.

I have three sets of coilovers and they absolutely are adjustable. That's why there's 3 collars. Two hold the spring and the 3rd locks the height. You adjust the spring (based on its height) to achieve the recommended spring rate, but you can go up or down all you want. While that may not be the same as a spring rated for x value, it does work fine. If you feel they're too firm, simply loosen them up half an inch or w/e. Also, you can adjust the dampening.

Yeah, the dampening is adjustable, but I've never heard of adjusting spring rates. I see what you're saying, though. However, reading one guy's experience with a particular brand of coilovers where the rear Springs were crappie, I decided I'd use eibachs at the spring rate I want instead of using the ones one the coilover set.

I haven't seen anyone give the inner diameter of the springs, which is what I'm mainly looking for so I can order the springs I need.
