Map Sensor question

Hey guys I got a 2000 Maxima gle I have been trying to get perfect for a while.I managed to get rid of my engine misfire cylinder #1! Now the only code I am left with is for my map sensor. When I first got the car, I replaced the map sensor, and the code never went away. I assumed it was good, because it was new, until today. I tested the 3 wires coming off it, and the red wire on one side does get 5 volts, however when I check the middle wire with paperclip (same method I used to test red wire), I got no voltage at all.(Key is in on position when testing) In the video I watched it showed middle wire starting at around 4 volts, and dropped as the vacuum pressure increased. If I am not getting any voltage at all from middle wire, is that a pretty good sign the sensor is bad? Also can anyone recommend a place to get a good new one without breaking the bank?..heh Thanks all

Dang is this a really difficult question? I just wanted conformation, before spending another $140.

I'm not sure the exact code, but I know he said the words absolute manifold pressure. I followed the video exactly, my only problem is the middle wire on that sensor is showing no voltage. I have had the same code since I have owned car. (About a year now). I replaced the map sensor once, and I still have other sensor sitting here. Is this a common part to fail, multiple times? I have triple checked all wiring, and hoses, and everything appears to be in great shape. I'm not sure what fsm stands for? The guy who sold me car, was supposed to send me the owners manual, and never did.

FSM = factory service manual , available here:
http://boredmder.com/FSMs/Nissan/Maxima/
depending on manufacture date you will either be 2000 or 2000.5

for the 2000 DTC P0105 ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR starts on page 177

what video are you referring to?

We don't have map sensors, so....no idea why that code should show.

If it is a maf problem go to the junkyard and swipe a handful. Non oem may not work.

This is the video I am referring to. Thank you for that info! I am going to look now, to see if I can find a manufacture date on the door somewhere.

Ok, so I followed the fsm step by step, and here is the step I am stuck on.
6 CHECK ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN AND SHORT
1. Disconnect ECM harness connector.
2. Check harness continuity between ECM terminal 80 and absolute pressure sensor terminal 2.
Continuity should exist.
3. Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.
I have no continuity between terminal 80, and terminal 2 of the absolute pressure sensor. I checked that wire the best I could, and I don't see any open/shorts.I dont understand what it means when it says "check harness for short to ground, or short to power"? Is there a ground terminal, and a power terminal I can check on the ecm? I did check for voltage on terminal 80 of the ecm, and I get 12.2 volts. It shows it's supposed to be aprox 4.4 volts? I am sure I am on terminal 80. Any thoughts/advice is greatly appreciated!
