Hello, I am in the market for a 2000 Maxima SE. I am planning on purchasing one in the next couple of months. My question is, should I wait until the 2001 comes out to see if there are any rebates for the 2000? A friend of mine bought his 99' Maxima last year and got a factory rebate because the 2000 model was released. I believe I read that the 2001 is coming out in the beginning of September. If anyone has information on this I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks.

I am in the market for a 2000 Maxima, too. I also work at a Nissan dealer, & my sales guys keep saying they don't know for sure about rebates, but I ought to wait till Sept 1st! Maybe they know something we don't! At any rate, I'm going to wait & see! Regards, David Burnette

 

I work at the Nissan Motor Manufacturing plant here in Smyrna, TN. Before I bought my 2K Maxima I asked one of the guys in the know and he stated that as long as sales are good there won't be a rebate. He said there have been no rebates here in Tennessee in several years on the Maxima.
