I have read till my eyes are sore and have searched but cant seem to find my problem. The fans work, the compressor engages and I did the self diagnostic test on ac and everthing checked out. My 3 temps were,
95 ambient
108 cabin
110 evap.
It was pretty hot outside to. I also noticed that the ac lines under the hood were not cold. Whats wrong with this thing?

 

It's possible that you leaked all the refrigerant out or air got into the lines. Try grabbing a can pure r134 (not the a.c. pro crap or ez chill) and a gauge. My A/c didn't work because it was 5 psi overcharged. We bled the system and the air got cold the instant we dropped into the 45 psi range.

 

Dude, you need the manifold guage set to show psi on high side and low side in addition to thermometer in order to get a full picture of what's going on.

 

+1 Without proper gauges you're just wasting time. Our cars have variable displacement compressors that don't click on/off like other compressors do. This can make A/C diagnostics a bit more tricky. Could be time to take it to a pro.
