does anyone know where the side airbags pop out of? I looked in the manual and in the car and i dont know where they pop out of... to the looks of it it looks like it RIPS through the seat because there are no openings made for it... does it rip through the leather? are the stiches made the way to open up? let me know what you think

I think they explode through the side of the seat. The whole side panel of the seat rips off because of the explosion.

 

I saw a picture of an interior with side airbags. From what I could tell it looked like there was a visible panel in the side of the seat which is not present on the non-side airbagged version. I could be wrong. I don't have the side airbags so I really can't tell.

 

There's a slit on the side of the seats with a tag. I don't remember what the tag says, but it's airbag related. I'm assuming it'll bust through the leather (where the seam is).
