Roll Call... Who here has a 5th gen I30/I35??
Whats up all, I was wondering how many of us here are I30/I35 drivers... Maybe if we get enough people together, we could have our own forum? Who knows! So, yeah, list your ride color, year, and any mods you have done to it - I'll start it off....
2001 I30, tan, PIAA HID's in the headlights and fogs, stillen intake and FSTB on order...

Dude, no need! The factory sub is great - once you fix the rattle! What i did was loosen the screws that attach the sub to the body frame, and jammed some thick paper/cardboard in, and re-attached it. This kinda fixed it, but what i did next may cause you all to laugh...
I wedged that really huge socket that comes with a standard socket set (the one you never use) between the body frame and the unit itself. This made it clear as a bell! Its a little unorthadox, but it worked! so yeah, give it a shot man.

2000 I30, Black on Black, Heated seats, mirrors, traction control, 6-CD changer. Mods- a sh!tload of scratches.
Used to have a '99 Limited, but that was a POS lemon.
I really love that extra cupholder (above right passenger air vent). I WISH it was in the maxima, too...

In the end, I'm extremely happy with the I30t. Once tinted, it really looks quite beautiful. Plus, the dealer ended up giving me a car with two more features than I had bargained for, namely traction control and the cold weather package (not all that useful in Southern California, but who cares?).

oooohhhhh, paint chips! Switch the subject! Still remembering my Black/White polka dot 4th gen. SOOO many paint chips, it looked like a cow or something on the hood. K

mods are **** loads of scratches, 28% tint on side windows and 18% on back, side sills, spoiler, stillen rsb, tint, and rewired fogs.

yea, don't get me wrong. I loved my 2k Max and miss her sometimes. But I do not miss the paint chips, the squeaks I had to chase around (and the damn service ppl). For the like $10-15 more a month I'm paying to be in an i35, it's worth it for the extra year on the warranty alone. Oh, and of course the loaner car when I go in for service.
