Keyless entry works when ign on/good!

One thing im liking here about yhis car is that when im in a bar or out to dinner and my phone is dead i can turn my car on and charge the phone. I can lock the doors while its charging and go back into the bar.
There are cars that dont let you do that and i hope Nissan never changes this!
These are the little luxuries they secretly change.

It's be really nice if they had a charger that would stay on for an hour or two after the ignition shuts off. Plenty of time to charge a phone but not enough to kill a battery.

Back in 2000, nobody was running around from charger to charger keeping their phones alive.

My 05 Grand Caravan has one plug that cuts off with the ignition and one right below it that's hot all the time.

All the older cars I've had kept the outlet hot all the time. That was before the "nanny" culture took over and people still had to use common sense.

Instead of bringing your phone out to your car to charge it why don't you just buy one of those power banks? That way you can keep your phone with you & still charge it. They are available in all shapes & sizes & prices.

Actually it depends on the manufacturer. The 12V plug in my Fathers 2015 Silverado is hot all the time, same with my wife's Ford Escape.

I know a lot of people that have those and they use the power bank until it is run down and then they have a dead phone and power bank.
