Squealing noise while turning under throttle
I've got an 03 6 speed with LSD. No bad noises in a straight line, and sounds fine while turning, suspension is mostly new. I've noticed an unpleasant sound while turning under throttle. It's pretty icy up here these days so wheel spin is a cinch to accomplish, but even with the tires spinning (not applying a lot of torque) it still makes the noise.
My prime suspects are wheel bearings, or the CV axles. I'm really hoping it has nothing to do with the transmission itself. Might try to record a sound clip to help with the diagnosis

Your power steering belt may just be worn out. its harder for the pump to spin with the wheels turned to either direction while moving than forward. If the pump is having a hard time(straining) or the belt is realy old, the belt is just going to spin loosly around the pump pulley and catch every so often ( squeal noise)
Belt almost seems too easy! I checked it out today and it might be a little loose, it's supposed to be 20 C warmer by the middle of the week so I'll wait till then to tighten it up
Tried tightening the belt, didn't make any difference. I didn't think it was loose enough to make that kind of noise. Here's a video I took.
Sounds fine in a straight line regardless of throttle, sounds fine while turning until throttle is applied. Seems to be worse when there is wheelspin, which is why I demonstrated the noise in an icy parking lot. Doesn't matter if it is turned left or right.

If it were wheel bearings, you would hear a whir or grinding but mostly at higher speeds, that sounds similar to when i rebuilt my whole front end minus axles and couldnt align it for other reasons. my axles made some crazy noises every turn or deep dip in the road only with the gas applies. i could do 60 in neutral with no noise aroubd sweeping bends but once she was in gear.......
