As the title suggests, it was time to change the water pump on my reliable 2000 Nissan Maxima and now I am stuck as is the water pump.
I have access to the water pump and I've searched everywhere on how to remove it the easiest; the 2 - M8 bolt method did not work due to user error.
I've tried some force now for about 2 hours and the pulley is loose now but the water pump does not budge.
Any suggestions?
Thank you, folks!

Try to get a little pry bar in there or something i guess.
So what's the story? is the chain stuck on it? Those bolts are supposed to push the pump out why isn't working for you?

Just a heads up
Be carefull removing it from where its mounted because the corners of the propellers are sharp and could gouge the lip where the o-ring seals seat!
Also take care when installing it that the propellers dont gouge the sidewalls of the bore!
