Will 2000 front bumper fit 2003?

My 5.5 was involved in an incident where someone hit it and ran. I only had liability ins. at the time because the car is old. It was not all that bad but my fender and bumper are done. What I did after was buy a body part donor 2000 maxima of the same color with a pretty decent body + black leather seats for $300 (motor, trans and axles were destroyed). Stupid me, I didn’t do any research and am getting mixed answers as to if the bumper and fenders will fit identically. So here I am. Will it fit with no issue? HELLLLPPPP!

IIRC they are different styles but given that the chassis of the car is the same between 5th gens and 5.5gens, they should bolt up. Youd be replacing the whole front end (grill, headlights, fogs, bumper etc) though since you cant just replace one part and have the rest fit. Given that it seems youre replacing whole front fascia anyways, you shouldnt have any problems. Dont take my word as gospel though lol.

edit: the 00-01 headlights are regular halogen while i think most 02-03 have HIDs. You would need to use the wiring from the 2000 maxima to put into your 5.5gen along with the 2000 headlights, because i dont think the 5.5gen headlights will fit with the 2000' bumper/grill, and obviously using the stock HID wiring on your 5.5gen wont work for halogen headlights.

I have read that the 5.5th gen headlights will fit in a 5th gen with a small gap. There are some wiring differences, but apparantly there is a little kit that you can buy. These are the two threads I have come across which may help you

And the bumper seems to be just as Slamrod said. https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...01-maxima.html
