Hello, few days ago i put in my máxima qx a33 a 2din chinese gps.
Estetically looks very nice, with nissan logo when you start the gps and Works very good for now. i can uploaded some pictures
The problem tha i have is the din hole, in this car is a Little bigger than a standard 2 din, and i have a space, if i put the gps down under then the hole is in the top of the socket, and if i put the gps in other position the hole is in the bottom.
I can see some pictures in the web and i think this is a commom problem.
Now i cand found some kits from metra for our car.
One is for infiniti i30-i35 but i not sure this kit is the right one for the máxima, because the color is gray, and the other kit is a Little square plastic, aparently to cover the hole.
Anyone in the fórum has this kit to know if this fit ok for my car?
In other case, do you know another kit thats fit in our cars?

I second this recommendation. Metra kits are excellent and affordable and come with good instructions. The kit for my i30t was perfectly color matched to what is underneath the plastic wood-look trim. On my car, I will be removing the plastic wood-trim and then recovering it with some of that ghetto-**** carbon fiber look wrap...

 

American International make the best dash still cheaply priced.

 

There are a Little problem with this metra kit.
My car is European car, in fact i am spanish, and my car has Wood in the dash.
The dash is a Little different than a i30 i35 US models.
I will try to upload some photos.
I think the metra 95-7417 will cover the hole but i don know if this one will fit ok because i never seen one before in any infinity or nissan

Mi car is exactly like that but mine has manual gearbox

 

I was hoping someone would start a thread on this... it's hard to sort through all the clutter on Ebay and Amazon, trying to find which one will looks the best. 2003 GLE here with BOSE system.
