get 55W bulbs

if you get 100W overwatt bulbs you will need a new wiring harness

make sure the package does not say 55W but looks like 100W..then the bulbs are OK

side markers are 194s

Usually the wattage on aftermarket bulbs is the equivalent output of the given wattage. Say it says 85 watts, (stock is 55) so it will put out as much light as an 85 watt bulb, but not actually being 85 watts so it won't fry your harness. Sometimes this is the case.

Those bulbs that say they use the same wattage as stock but give off a higher wattage out put don't last very long. Stay away from them. I can tell you from experience with my privious car that you'll get addicted to the look of brigher bulbs and keep buying them even though there life is short. Stick with HIGH QUALITY BULBS with the same wattage as your stock bulbs.

I like the phillips bluevision, they are at kmart (about $10 ea)

the slvania cool blues are also ok (about $10 ea)

I think the PIAA are way overpriced, they are great for looks, but they can't light your way.

I'm assuming your Max is a 2000-01 (no HID headlights. If you want true HID get the 2002 headlights they are the best HID's out there for our car unless you want the 6000K bulbs. If you don't want to spend that kind of money and just want the HID look than go Polarg for your fogs and sidmarkers (wedge bulbs 194) or PIAA for your Headlights. Look at people's homepages Here is a good example

How do you get to the Fog lights in the first place? Do you have to remove the whole under-wheel fender? Have the bulbs to replace and can't quite figure it out. PLease advise. Thx
