Yes i know oem rebuilt axles is best for lowered cars, whats DECENT on rock auto

So either one of my OEM axles is finally out but i'm doing a 4.1FD HLSD tranny swap really soon and have a spare passenger oem to rebuild but no drivers. I would hit up the junk yard but work 6 days a week 10-8 so i'm thinking of getting something off rock auto as i can finish the swap with a friend over a day to reduce labour time on axle rebuild.

I know non of the 6mt axles have the balancers like oem. napa has oem rebuilt but only auto (at least in the toronto area). i'm looking at APWI, HERI and Suretrack/Trackmotive as replacements. I am aware they may vibrate in a few months but i only drive the car april-november. by the time its starts vibrating i will already have stock piled 2 whole sets of nicely rebiult OEM axles

Which are the rock auto axle brands you guys have been having decent luck with? this is how low the car is... its not going lower

I can't tell what your lowered dimension is from your photos and you don't say in your initial post, but if you haven't lowered the car more than 1.5", maybe 1.7", then the Cardone Select (new) have performed quite well for me.

Yes, I used this on my 4th gen 6 speed swap for the passenger size axle.

I'm lowered a little bit, but definitely not slammed. The ground to the top of wheel arch is about 25.5" if memory serves me correctly.

i'm gonna end up buying the passenger axle as well since u had luck and be done with this daily beauty for a bit and focus on the supercharged build

diversified shaft solutions easily broke at the track with maybe 2 months of usage before the drag strip... This is also the same time i found out i need to preload for launching with sticky 120 tread wear tires lol. They didn't hold one launch i got to the track and a busy *** day, waited 40 mins in line and broke it lol here's a video @ 9:25 our whole team went out lol the supercharged vortech v3 that makes 426whp did **** times but high trap speeds he's never been to the track or launched on sticky stuff

My solution is i already had ordered red lion raised motor mounts to lift everything up an inch and then call it a day with some basic axles and when i get a chance use OEM rebuilt only AND preload when there's good prep and stick *** tires otherwise something's gotta give !

Do you have a link for those raised motor mounts? Last time i tried to look them up all i found was a defunct website.

I bought a driver's side axle from Advance that had a vibration damper. My car is a 5 speed but it isn't LSD. Advance usually has a 20% off for online orders so it's cheap. I can't say how strong it is
