Hey guys my name is Paul and I'm a new owner of an 03 Infiniti I35. I was looking up spark plugs and I'm not sure what type to get either platinum or iridium or copper. I do a lot of driving and I need something with good spark so I'm looking for recommendations on what type to use and what to set the Gap at. The cars coming up on a hundred thousand miles and on the carfax report doesn't state that there was a spark plug change so I know it's going to be due soon.

 

NGK and just go with factoty plug setting of i believe .044

 

did they come stock with platinum's?

 

They came with platinum. You can get iridium which would be the next step up for longevity.

 

NGK or Denso Iridium are the best for your car.

Obviously the original platinum will work but these cars are pretty sensitive to plugs and they're kind of a pain to do on the 3.5 liter. I put iridium plugs in everything I have and have always been happy with them.
